I am from Green River, Wyoming. I have a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Natural Resources from BYU-Idaho.  My undergraduate education course work included courses in wildlife, riparian, range, and plant ecology.  I worked one summer as a botany technician collecting seed and data for the USDA Forest Service Rocky Mountain Shrub Science Laboratory in Provo, Utah, and one summer as a wildlife technician tracking sage grouse at Strawberry Reservoir for BYU professor Dr. Jerran Flinders. My research project is focused on the effects of mixing tannin rich legumes into the diet of herbivores consuming an endophyte infected grass diet.
