Dr. Bret Olson is a Professor of Range Ecology in the Animal and Range Sciences Department at Montana State University. His current research interests include 1) animal behavior and nutrition while grazing rangelands dominated by invasive forbs, 2) behavior and physiology of cattle grazing foothill rangelands during winter, and 3) physiology and population biology of invasive and native plants. Dr. Olson will supervise two M.S. students and a Research Associate studying ecological and social costs of invasive plants.
