I have been a professional farrier for 28 years. My Bachelors degree is in Psychology with an emphasis on behavior. I have many years of experience with livestock, and have been utilizing behavior modification to lower the stresses involved in handling and as a tool in establishing working relationships.

My research studies are based on exploring the self medication ability of domestic herbivores, and will be interested in exploring real world applications. I am also interested in learning to apply low impact livestock handling techniques to the research process.
