Jocelyn Haskell, Partner, Diamond J Resource Management, LLC is persuing a PhD under Dr. Fred Provenza at Utah State University.  She has a BS (Animal Science) and an MS (Bioveterinary Science/Reproductive Physiology).  Through her doctoral program, Jocelyn is using her interest in livestock reproduction/physiology to explore the impact that experience and history have on animal performance and ultimately on landscapes.  Her current research is looking at how livestock experience affects ranch profitability under differing management scenarios.  Jocelyn looks forward to maintaining a collaborative relationship with BEHAVE after finishing her degree.  Through her work at Diamond J, she has developed a passion for low stress handling methods.  She is interested in opportunities that promote progressive collaboration and holistic land management, with an emphasis on low inputs.  Jocelyn is happily married to John Haskell, with whom she has one daughter, Shayne.
